Baby vest

Hello everyone!

So im now 3 days overdue with baby- urgh hopefully soon he will make his arrival (and this could be my last post for abit) but in the meantime I finished the baby vest (1st time knitting one) and sent off my last mitten order :)

Baby Jacket :)

Hello!

So had a great week of knitting :) Posted off my 2nd mitten order and got lovely feedback for it- here it is:

Love the feeling knowing that a baby out there is wearing something I created :D

Also I finally finished the baby jacket (3 month+) so now Jess and baby have similar jackets knitted by me - so all fair!

Onto a new (and finding it quick) project- a vest! :D can you see a blue theme still going on......

Phew and all before due next week! This could be my last blog update before baby!!!!!

Mini crafts

Hello!

So I have been making mini crafts with Jess- with toilet rolls!

Here we have made our family :P

They are now proudly standing on her bookshelf "holding hands" - Might expand this to grandma and nanny etc.....

Inspired by pinterest we started an ice cream shop- such a simple idea but hours of fun! Think will make a stand and signs for her..... Will paint the pegs brown for proper flakes- and will try to make more of a cone...

For her birthday we got some craft kits so will start them very soon :)

I made some balloon models for her birthday - I hate balloons always think they will burst in my face but I faced my fear so to speak and actually balloon twisting/modelling was quite fun (apart from fingers hurt from trying to tie them)

Other news:

Nearly finished the never ending jacket! One more sleeve to go :P then I can start the two mitten orders and send them off ASAP!

Have a few knitting WIPs to start/finish but they can be done whenever :)

Hi everyone!!!

Quick post to say sorry for not being on for a while- couldnt remember my password for the site (urgh) and what with tiredness and nesting etc.... But am on maternity leave now woop so hope to get back into it all!!!

Here is a bump piccy- im now nearly 38 weeks (this was taken last week)

Hope you all been ok? More detailed post soon (daughters birthday tomorrow so prep for that today- ahh she will be 4!!)

Hello everyone!

It has been a busy week in Justjennywren world! I finished my first order and will be posting it off to Somerset tomorrow! Here it is:

Phew busy craft week!

Had an email back from a possible fair next year and they said yes and if like to have a stall this year! Im thinking it over but the fair is The Essex Baby Show!!! so a big one :s

Now onto order 2 of mittens :)

Mrs Humpty Dumpty

Hello everyone!

Cannot believe we are in May! :S

Im halfway through the basic accounts course- its really helpful :) I have also finished making a newborn hat for a friend and started some sewing!

Here is the newborn hat- getting quicker at these (as find chunky wool im quick but normal wool im slow)

Nice and simple :)

Here is my sewing project that I completed last night - Mrs Humpty Dumpty :P

Made her out of Jess old clothes :) Found the idea on pinterest :)

Im now halfway through the teddy:

Was nice to get back on the sewing machine 

Have a few things left on the to-craft list (Main things need to finish ) slowly ticking things off :) Also have three crafts that I want to try before baby arrives..... watch this space :P

We also had zoe zebra from nursery stay with us this week and she watched me sew :) 

Also started my first mitten order of three- love the colour combo- will show you in next weeks post :)

Newborn hat

So im over half way through the baby jacket - but thought would make a baby hat too :) Here it is (and Jess allowed me to use her doll as a prop :P)

Will make a few more I think! Very easy knit (this dolls head circumference is 14"- same as a newborn as they range from 12-14" average)

Smaller designs of my toddler range coming soon! 

Had abit of a week of it tbh - will crack on with some sewing next week I think :) Have signed up on a groupon basic accounting course to help with all the business side of it all- will start this after BSL- all small steps!
