Im Back!!!
Hello everyone!
Wow has it been a year already???? :S :S
Well im back after the long break which was much needed and busy year it has been! We have moved house, Jess moved school and I have recently got married! Phew!!! Oh and we got a cat now called Bigley!
William turned 1 and Jess 5! Gosh time does go quick.. I remember posting that I was overdue!
So thats a brief summery of what has been going on....
Craft wise I have finally got back into knitting (as William now lets me- was very hard with a newborn!) and I have finished Elvis the Elf :D
I also made Jess a few months ago a puppet theatre :) Jess painted it and made the stick puppets- took a few days but she still puts on shows even now.

Decisions
Hello
Woah long time posting again :s but things have been abit manic here but dusting off the tumble weeds and want to show you and tell you a few things :)
Here is Will modelling my hat and jacket :P
1) I have become a member of a knitting forum called loving hands where they knit for charity- nice bunch of people and so have started a charity project for them- a knitted boob (yes they exist).
Let me tell you a story of when Will was at hospital due to weight loss as my milk wasnt in fast- a health visitor popped by and talked about feeding and because i forgotten what its like i needed help. She took out her bag a knitted boob and by god did it help when she showed me the latch and positions etc... it was so simple yet so useful! So I want to give back and help other who might need this visual example.
2) Another three charity knits are also on the needles- bonding squares to send off to a lady on facebook, twiddle muff to go to the hospital and of course- The Big Knit! Last time participated in 2013 and done a total of 10 hats- lets see how many can do before deadline of January :)
And so leads me to another decision- as can see alot of charity knits- im so enjoying the freedom and fun if this unlike the pressure and disappointment of selling, and so I am only doing as a hobby (yes gone back to this again) but again the joy was being lost like last time. I have kept the facebook page but as unpublished until I can sort it out (not sure how to yet)
Anyway thats it for now!

Relaxing and ideas....
Hello everyone!
First I want to say a big thankyou to all your replies from the last blog post :D William says thankyou also :P Trying to get round to replying individually.
Slowly getting into a routine so sorry not been on- playing catchup with your blogs atm....
I have also found a charity knitting forum - love it but its addictive!! Have found a few patterns that I want to start with after I finish some more bonding squares (4 done so far) and the twiddle muff.
Here are the squares I have done so far:
So apart from knitting I have been trying to relax and rest up - also finally organised my wedding ideas folder!!!
Better now as it is in sections (will add checklists on each subject divider) and know I want to make my own confetti and maybe some origami paper cranes :P will add a to craft section at the back of the folder I think!
Last night me and Jess made apple crumble for the first time - was yummy and the recipe was so simple and quick!
So that is it this week tbh-thankyou for reading my posts I really appreciate it.

Hello world
Hello everyone!
So on the 19th July (day after my birthday) little one made his appearance! We have named him William :)
Very quick labour compared to Jess but then a few days after he had to go into hospital due to dehydration and weight loss (was abit more than it should have been)- two days we stayed in and I had lots running through my mind.
We are now back home- sort of in a routine and my body is slowly getting back to normal after alot of stress and mentally/physically exhausting time that put my body into shock.
During the night feeds I have flicked through one of my birthday books (the craft encyclopedia that vicky has reviewed over at her blog) and already have few things would like to try and has given me some ideas that I can add to my page.
I have now closed my order books till September to give me chance to knit other things and design stuff also its the wrong time of year (did a 10% off any order to celebrate my birthday but had no orders) so hoping winter will spur some orders- again one idea i have is all year round so will see.....more to follow about this soon.
I have also donated three hats to a raffle that the neonatal ward is raising money for a new incubator so thought would offer as a prize :)
So for now I am knitting bonding squares to send off to this facebook charity group that I am a member of :) and also gives me an excuse to sit and rest/relax (or as much as I can) - plus cant imagine how the parents are going through it - compared to what we went through ours wasnt bad (if that makes sense?)
Anyway will hopefully get round to all your blogs- might take time!
Many thanks for all the messages on the last post - will be linking this to Handmade Monday
Much love
